Sean Paul Joseph: Born March 7, 1979. He used to be known as Sean Paul, butto avoid being confused with the Jamaican reggae artist of the same name he now goes by the stage name Sean P.
Sean P grew up in Decatur, Georgia where he crossed paths with his artistic counterpart J-Bo back when they went to Miller Grove Middle School. They later formed the YoungBloodZ creating their own brand of southern rap and crunk. In 1999 “Against Da Grain” was released by the YoungBloodZ, which is best known by the single “U-Way” (How We Do It).
Sean P went on to make two more albums with the YoungBloodZ: “Drankin’ Patnaz” released in 2003 and, “Ev’rybody Know Me” was released in 2005. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, The YoungBloodZ third album is tentatively titled “Bad Influence”, andis due to be released soon. Sean P has done a lot of his own projects aside from his YoungBloodZ projects accompanying J-Bo. Sean P released “Hood Anthems” along with other artistsin 2007, and his current solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” due to be released early 2009, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
