Lindsay Morgan Lohan, born as Lindsay Dee Lohan, July 2, 1986 hasbecome famous as a darling of the paparazzi and Hollywood’s favorite bad girl as everyone knows. Daughter of Dina and Micheal Lohan, her younger siblings are Micheal Jr., Aliana, and Dakota. Lohan started her career as a child fashion model workingfor the Ford Modeling Agency at three years of age. She appeared in print ads for Abrecrombie Kids, Calvin Klein Kids, and Toys “R” Us. Lohan went on to appear in over 60 television ads including TV ads for sponsors Pizza Hut, Wendy’s and Jell-O where she appeared withBill Cosby.
At age 10 Lohan was hired for a role in the television soap opera “Another World” where she played the character Alexandra, for only a year until she surrendered the role for her first theatrical role. She was offered the lead role, or roles, of twins in the remake of Disney’s “The Parent Trap” in 1998. Between film projects Lohan did some more television work until in 2003 she hit it big with the starring role in an update of Disney’s “Freaky Friday” along with Jamie Lee Curtis. Lohan’s theatrical career continued to rise with leading roles in “Mean Girls” in 2004 and in 2005 with Disney’s “Herbie: Fully Loaded”.
About the same time Lohan was launching a second career as a pop music icon with her debut solo album “Speak” which reached number four on Billboard and was certified Platinum in 2005, and became friends with entertainment guru Jeremy Geffen. The video of her single “Rumours” from this album was nominated for the 2005 MTV Music Awards Best Pop Video. Her second album released in 2005 “A Little More Personal (Raw)” debuted at number 20 on Billboard and within a year was certified Gold.
Included in some of Lohan’s credits are supporting as well as leading roles with a focus largely on independent films, most notably a supporting role in “A Prairie Home Companion” as Meryl Streep’s Daughter and the lead role in the award winning “Bobby” in 2006.
Lohan just completed filming “Labor Pains” due for release in 2009 in which she plays an employee that avoids being fired by pretending to be pregnant.
