10 Issues Related To the TrackBoyz

As the TrackBoyz; Mark “Tarboy” Williams and Joe “Capo” Kent, managed by Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, have produced and engineered several hip-hop albums and singles. Williams got his start as a performer and was managing to scrape by selling background beat tracks when he met Kent in St. Louisin 1997, and since then they have been producing beats together.

Tarboy and Capo started to be widely noticed while doing production for Nelly (Cornell Haynes, Jr.) when his album “Nellyville” topped the Billboard charts in 2002. Nelly was one of the first rappers from St. Louis to break out nationally at the time, and TrackBoyz production team were major contributors to his success.

The TrackBoyz have gone on to work with artists such as D12, Sean P, J-Kwon, Nappy Roots, and many others with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment. Directly after Tarboy and Capo began to develop J-Kwon they commenced to promoting his single “Tipsy”, rapidly overran the urban markets and nearly toppedof the Billboard charts in 2004. Today the TrackBoyz continue to sign and develop new talent.
