As the TrackBoyz; Mark “Tarboy” Williams and Joe “Capo” Kent, managed by Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, have engineered and produced many hip-hop singles and LPs. Williams started his career as a performer and was managing to scrape by recording and selling background tracks when he was introduced to Kent in St. Louisin 1997, and since then they have been producing beats together.

The TrackBoyz first started gaining notoriety as producers for Nelly (Cornell Haynes, Jr.) when “Nellyville” rose to the top of the Billboard charts in 2002. Nelly was one of the first rappers to break out of the local St. Louis scene, and his producers the TrackBoyz contributed a large part to his success.

The TrackBoyz have also produced projects for various artists including D12, Sean P, J-Kwon, Nappy Roots, and many others with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment. Directly after Williams and Kent signed on J-Kwon they started promoting his single “Tipsy”, quickly dominated the urban markets and crept near the topof the Billboard charts in 2004. Today Tarboy and Capo continue to sign and develop new talent.
