Sean Paul Joseph: Date of birth March 7, 1979. He used to go by Sean Paul, butto avoid being mistakenly identified with the Jamaican reggae artist of the same name he has assumed the stage name Sean P.
Sean P grew up in Decatur, Georgia where he met his partner in crime J-Bo when they both attended Miller Grove Middle School. This evolved into the musical partnership the YoungBloodZ performing their own brand of southern rap. The YoungBloodZ released “Against Da Grain” in 1999, the best known single from this album being “U-Way” (How We Do It).
Sean P went on to make two more albums with the YoungBloodZ: “Drankin’ Patnaz” released in 2003 and, 2005 brought the release of “Ev’rybody Know Me”. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, The tentative title of the YoungBloodZ third album is “Bad Influence”, andis due to be released soon. Sean P has don a lot of other work along with YoungBloodZ projects including J-Bo. Along with other artists he released “Hood Anthems”in 2007, and currently he is working on a new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” with a projected 2009 release, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
