Sean Paul Joseph: Date of birth March 7, 1979. He used to go by Sean Paul, butto avoid being confused with the Jamaican reggae artist of the same name he has changed his name to Sean P.
Sean P is originally from Decatur, Georgia where he met up with friend and collaborator J-Bo when they both attended Miller Grove Middle School. This evolved into the musical partnership the YoungBloodZ bringing their own class of southern rap. In 1999 “Against Da Grain” was released by the YoungBloodZ, the best known single from this album being “U-Way” (How We Do It).
With the YoungBloodZ Sean P went on to make two more albums: 2003 saw the release of “Drankin’ Patnaz” and, “Ev’rybody Know Me” was released in 2005. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, “Bad Influence” is the tentative title of the YoungBloodZ third album, andshould see a release in early 2009. Sean P has a considerable body of work along with YoungBloodZ projects along side J-Bo. Sean P released “Hood Anthems” along with other artistsin 2007, and he is currently working on his new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” with a projected 2009 release, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
