10 Issues Covering the TrackBoyz & Jeremy Geffen Entertainment

As the TrackBoyz; Mark “Tarboy” Williams and Joe “Capo” Kent, managed by Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, have engineered and produced several hip-hop albums and singles. Williams got his start as a performer and was also eking an existence recording and selling background tracks in St. Louis when he met Kentin 1997, and they have been producing beats ever since.

Tarboy and Capo first started gaining notoriety while doing production for Nelly (Cornell Haynes, Jr.) as “Nellyville” topped the Billboard charts in 2002. Nelly was one of the first rappers from St. Louis to break out nationally at the time, and the TrackBoyz contributed a large part to his success.

Williams and Kent have also worked with artists such as D12, Sean P, J-Kwon, Nappy Roots, and many others with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment. Directly after Williams and Kent signed on J-Kwon they commenced to promoting his single “Tipsy”, rapidly overran the urban markets and climbed nearly to the topof the Billboard charts in 2004. Today the TrackBoyz continue to sign and develop new talent.
