Rhinoplasty; otherwise known as nose reshaping; or a nose job. Dr Behnaz Yazdanfar Rhinoplasty is surgical operation on the nose to either correct its functioning in the context of respiration problems, or as a cosmetic surgical procedure to enhance the appearance of the nose. As a rehabilitative surgery for respiration complications the procedure is usually completed by an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat Doctor), or a plastic surgeon if it is a pcosmetic surgery procedure. There four main kinds of rhinoplasty surgical operations.
Incisions for closed rhinoplasty are made by Dr B Yazdanfar entirely inside the nose. The soft tissues are subsequently separated from the underlying bone and cartilage. Once the bone and cartilage is exposed it can be reconfigured by shaving off or adding bone and cartilage. Closed rhinoplasty is used for instances when only slight reshaping is required.
For open rhinoplasty the columella (skin separating the nostrils) is cut. This admits the surgeon to further divide the soft tissues from the foundational bone and cartilage opening the anatomy of the nose to the surgeon. This surgical operation is used on occasions where major reshaping is needed.
Secondary rhinoplasty, or revision rhinoplasty is a surgical operation Dr Behnaz Yazdanfar to fix undesirable results from a previous surgery. Perhaps a reconstructive surgery for a respiratory problem produced disappointing aesthetic results, or it might be that a procedure of cosmetic surgery produced a nasal obstruction that is causing breathing difficulties. In any case secondary rhinoplasty is a tricky surgical operation because of scar tissue that was generated from the previous surgeries.
Filler rhinoplasty is a less invasive procedure that uses injectable fillers to alter the contour of the nose. Once the filler is injected beneath the soft flesh of the nose it hardens. There are different kinds of fillers utilized, some of which last for several months, and different ones that are permanent.
