Rhinoplasty; otherwise known as nose reshaping; or a nose job. Dr Behnaz Yazdanfar Rhinoplasty is surgery on the nose to either correct its function in the case of respiration difficulties, or as a cosmetic surgery procedure to enhance the features of the nose. As a reconstructive procedure for breathing problems the surgical procedure is customarily done by an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat Doctor), or a plastic surgeon if it is a pcosmetic surgical procedure. There four fundamental kinds of rhinoplasty procedures.
Incisions for closed rhinoplasty are created by Dr Behnaz Yazdanfar completely inside the nostrils. The soft tissues are subsequently unattached from the structural bone and cartilage. Once the bone and cartilage is exposed it can be reshaped by removing or adding bone and cartilage. Closed rhinoplasty is employed in cases when finer reshaping is required.
For open rhinoplasty the columella (skin separating the nostrils) is cut. This permits the surgeon to further loosen the soft tissues from the structural bone and cartilage exposing the anatomy of the nose to the surgeon. This procedure is employed on occasions where extensive reshaping is called for.
Secondary rhinoplasty, or revision rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure Dr Yazdanfar to correct complications from a previous surgery. It is possible that a reconstructive surgical procedure for a breathing difficulty resulted in unacceptable aesthetic results, or it is possible that a cosmetic surgical procedure caused a nasal restriction that is causing breathing problems. In any case secondary rhinoplasty is a tricky surgery because of scar tissue that was created from the earlier surgeries.
Filler rhinoplasty is a less invasive method that uses injectable fillers to revise the form of the nose. Once the filler is injected under the soft tissues of the nose it hardens. There are different types of fillers employed, some of which endure for several months, and different ones that are permanent.
