Sean Paul Josephwas born March 7, 1979. He used to be known as Sean Paul, butto avoid confusion with the Jamaican reggae artist with the same name he now goes by the stage name Sean P.
Sean P grew up in Decatur, Georgia where he met his artistic counterpart J-Bo when they both attended Miller Grove Middle School.
